Las Vegas was such an amazing experience for such a quick trip! I had never been to Vegas before so I was one of those crazy tourists with a selfie stick in hand at all times snapping photos of literally everything! It literally is LARGER THEN LIFE in Vegas! There was so much to see and do that I almost thought I didn’t have enough days. I walked to strip many times, went to a Cirque show, saw Steve Aoki perform at Omni nightclub, played slot machines, where I won a bunch of money for the first time ever, and one of the best and scariest experiences I had was to visit the Grand Canyon!
The Grand Canyon is was the most surreal places I’ve ever visited. We took a plane ride Eagle Point which was about 45 minutes total. It was one of the prettiest views I’ve ever experienced, and we flew over the Hoover Dam! The entire tour was about 7 hours. And yes that was 7 hours without cell service but it was well worth it. You found peace being there. One thing I didn’t do because of my fear of heights, but was tempted to try was the Skywalk. The Skywalk is a 10 foot wide platform and sticks out about 70 feet. The entire platform is glass and it allows you to see 4,000 feet down to the base of the Canyon. Why is it called Eagle Point? It was named after a natural rock formation that looks like an eagle, see the last photo. While you’re there you have the opportunity to watch Native American dances in the amphitheatre each day during specific hours. The Grand Canyon tour is a MUST do if you head to Vegas!
